McFarlane's Cowl Saver sealing material is now available pre-installed in Airforms baffle kits. Cowl SaverTM reduces vibrations in the aircraft fuselage and prevents cracks in the bonnet and fire bulkhead. Conventional silicone rubber seals for baffles have one of the highest coefficients of friction of all known materials. This friction transfers engine vibrations to the bonnet and fire bulkhead, causing wear, material fatigue, cracks, chafing and vibrations in the aircraft fuselage. Cowl SaverTM is specifically designed for low friction, saving you money! And you will feel the difference in vibrations.

The Cowl Saver sealing material offers 30 times less friction! Low friction baffles save you money!

6061-T6 aluminium, available in bare aluminium or with grey powder coating.

Cowl SaverTM sealing material is pre-installed.
